50 Cent disses Jay Z’s new album: “You can’t be the best rapper at 47”

50 Cent, who’s known for not holding back when it comes to publicly stating his opinions on various things has dissed rap-mogul Jay Z, while critiquing the former’s latest studio LP, 4:44.The Grammy-award winning rapper uploaded a video of himself on Instagram, talking about what he felt about Jay’s album after the first-listening and how it was just “alright”, “too smart” and “golf-course-music.”

“I listened to JAY’s s 4:44, I thought the sh*t was alrigt,” the rapper said. “I liked the sh*t. But I’ma keep it 100: The sh*t was a little too smart. I felt like I was supposed to be wearing glasses and sh*t, and tie a f—ing sweater around my waist. It was like Ivy League sh*t.”

The ‘Candyshop’ rapper further stated, “I ain’t gon’ hold you up. “Some of that sh*t was like golf course music.”

50 Cent further stressed that an artist “can’t be the best rapper 47” and insisted that he should step back and make way for the younger ones now.

Jay’s latest studio effort is receiving widespread acclaim from critics and has been certified platinum within only 5 days of its release.

Wonder if Jay Z would even bother to respond to this.
