Wonder Woman is already one of the top grossing movies of 2017, raking in a staggering $770 million in worldwide Box Office.

The Gal Gadot starrer action-packed blockbuster will now repeat it’s commercial glory in an upcoming sequel, as announced by Warner Brothers.

The super-heroine flick, which has set a benchmark for female-oriented mega budget action movies will see Gadot reprising the role of the protagonist, while Patty Jenkins will continue as the director of the series – as confirmed by the entertainment house in a recent conference.

Meanwhile, Warner Bros has also extended Gadot’s initial three-movie commitment, following her massive worldwide popularity playing the DC comic super-heroine.

Wonder Woman was the second live-action theatrical film featuring the DC comic character, after her first big-screen appearance on 2016’s Batman VS Superman: Dawn of Justice.

Can’t wait to see where Gadot takes her character after proving her acting metal in the first installment.
