Sinead O’Connor raised major concerns over her health after posting a heartbreaking video on her Facebook account – where she addressed being alone and suicidal.

The 50 year old Irish singer’s tearful video looked like a cry-out for help, speaking on how lonely she feels after losing the custody of her 13 year old son as her family continues to push her aside amidst her multiple mental health issues.

O’Connor has been diagnosed with bipolar disease and has a history of suicidal tendencies, including a number of suicide attempts in 1999, 2012 and another breakdown back in 2015.

The troubled songstress addressed she wishes to ‘go to her mom’ after being sidelined by her family. “Suddenly, all the people who are supposed to be loving you or taking care of you treat you like shit,” O’Connor said. “If it was me, I’d be gone, straight away back to my mom.”

“Why are we alone?,” Sinead continued. ” People who suffer from mental illness are the most vulnerable people on Earth. You’ve got to take care of us. We’re not like everybody. I just want to make this video so you all could see what the fu*k it’s like. It’s the stigma that’s killing people, not the mental fu*king illness.”
O’Connor then hinted at what people battling mental health issues really need, stating, “If you have a family member that suffers from mental illness, care for them, tenderness, love, care for them. Visit them in the hospital, don’t dump them in the hospital and bugger off.”

Concerned from her desperate cry for help, British singer-songwriter Annie Lennox made a post on her Facebook, urging her near and dear ones to reach out to her. “I realise that Sinead has some serious mental health issues, but she appears to be completely out on a limb and I’m concerned for her safety,” Lennox wrote. “Are there no close friends or family who could be with her to give her some loving support? It’s terrible to see her in such a vulnerable state.”

Seeing the overwhelming concern shown by her fans and supporters, O’Connor made a response on her account through a close friend who posted that she was doing fine and did not have suicidal tendencies.

Hi everybody, I am posting at Sinead’s request, to let everyone who loves her know she is safe, and she is not suicidal. She is surrounded by love and receiving the best of care. She asked for this to be posted knowing you are concerned for her. I won’t respond to any questions, so please understand. I hope this comforts those of you were concerned.

We’re glad Sinead is okay and hope she not only gets the professional help she needs but also the love and support of her family and friends.
Someone needs to reach out to miss O’Connor and provide her the comfort she needs.
