Lady Gaga was among several other celebrities who lashed out at president Trump for not specifically pointing out “the root of the problem” in his Twitter condemnation of the Charlotteville riots.

Gaga, who’s been an advocate of non-violence and equal rights since the beginning of her career, did not hesitate to speak her mind as she denounced the violent outbreak.

“I pray a true leader will rise to expel hatred from America,” Gaga wrote on her Twitter handle. “@realDonaldTrump too afraid to do the right thing cuz you will lose votes? Doesn’t matter, younger generation has the answer to #BeKind.”

The city of Charlottesville was taken over by a shocking violent outbreak between white-pride marchers and counter-protesters on Saturday. The march led by members of the Ku Klux Klan, alternative rights leaders and white nationalists, saw them hurling racist slogans like, ‘You will not replace us,’ ‘Jews will not replace us’ and Nazi slogans like – ‘blood and soil.

The violent clash resulted into the death of one of the counter-protesters while several others have been injured from both sides.
