Shania Twain recently revealed that the inspiration behind her 1998 chart-topper ‘That Don’t Impress Me Much’ was Hollywood eye-candy Brad Pitt and his naked self.

The Country-Pop diva spoke about the background of the spoke in a recent interview with Billboard, revealing that it was Pitt’s leaked nudes that inspired her to write the song.

“You want to know the truth about this story?,” she said. “I’ve never told this before. I’m going to say it now. I remember I had a girlfriend visiting me and it was near Christmas and we were baking cookies,” she explained. “I was writing this album and there was a scandal of him and Gwyneth Paltrow where there was naked photos of him. And this was like all the rage. I just thought ‘Well, I don’t know what all the fuss is about.’ This is where I took it from. I’m like, well that don’t impress me much, I mean what is all the fuss. We see people naked every day. That’s really what I thought.”

Twain did mentioned Pitt’s name the classic Billboard Top 10 song (remember, “okay, so you’re Brad Pitt?”), but she did clear that she isn’t trying to say that she wasn’t impressed with Brad Pitt’s body or image, but the hype surrounding his leaked pictures.

“I wasn’t picking on Brad Pitt,” she stated, “but that was just the association in that moment and things we make fusses about and whatever. Of course, it could have been any gorgeous guy.”

We’re sure you would want to refresh your memories and play the song again now.
