The ‘When I was Your Man’ singer announced his massive charity during his concert in Auburn Hill, Michigan, stating that he’d be giving away a million dollars out of the show’s proceeds to aid the water-crisis in Flint.
The 31 year old RnB star is touring as part of his 24K Magic World Tour to support his latest album, and linked the proceeds of his Michigan show directly to the Community Foundation of Greater Flint – an organization dedicated to help the ones affected by the water-crisis.
“I’m very thankful to the Michigan audience for joining me in supporting this cause,” Bruno said during the show. “Ongoing challenges remain years later for Flint residents, and it’s important that we don’t forget our brothers and sisters affected by this disaster. As people, especially as Americans, we need to stand together to make sure something like this never happens in any community ever again.”
