Less than a year ago, Lady Gaga treated her fans with her much-awaited fifth studio album, 'Joanne' - with a different side to her artistry and sound, which stressed more on her musical dynamics.

Days after the Pop superstar commenced a worldwide tour in support of the critically acclaimed album, work on her next studio album is already said to have begun.

Speaking to Entertainment Weekly Gaga revealed that she has already started writing material for her next studio project and has plenty of new ideas in her head.

“I’ve started writing,” she told EW. “I have a lot of ideas and a lot of things I want to create, so you’ll see in a bit. I need some time to create.”

Joanne was Gaga's fourth album to reach the top spot on the Billboard Top 200 Albums charts.

The Grammy winning singer kicked of Joanne World Tour on August 1, in Vancouver, Canada and may surprise fans with another single from the album - after the previous two, moderately successful singles, 'Perfect Illusion' and 'Million Reasons.'

Although, Joanne has been musically satisfying - it hasn't brought the magnitude of commercial success like 'Fame Monster' or 'Born This Way' - especially when it comes to the singles.

Are there chances Gaga might shift more to her older sound and bring back the look, wardrobe and the fierce uptempo's with her next studio project?
