Actor Kevin Hart uploaded a video specifically calling out some major celebs and publicly urging them to make donations for the Hurricane Harvey relief.
Hart made a donation of $25K himself to assist the people who have been affected by the natural disaster, but also went ahead and tagged other celebs like The Rock, Steve Harvey, Chris Rock, Dave Chappelle, Jay-Z, Beyonce, Justin Timberlake and Jerry Seinfeld – pushing them to do the same.
The problem here is – Hart just made a presumption that none of those celebs have made a donation yet. While the truth is – several people like to reach out and help anonymously without making a public revelation of the same. Its something that several celebs often opt for, to maintain their privacy and also not make it look like a publicity stunt.
But Hart’s public shaming and shifting spotlight on specific names was uncalled for.
