RnB singer and songwriter Tweet has been admitted to the hospital following a medical emergency.
The 45 year old Rochester-born singer and guitarist has been hospitalized for blood clots in both of her lungs.
The news was shared by Baltimore pastor Jamal Bryant, who took to Instagram to seek prayers for the singer’s betterment. “I need your prayers for @tweet_ She’s been admitted in hospital for blood clots in both lungs & right arm,” Bryant wrote on his Instagram post.
The pastor also said the the doctors, so far, have not been able to identify the root the cause of the clotting and are attempting to find the source. “Doctors can’t trace it but God is a healer! Prayer still works,” he said.
Hip-hop star, Missy Elliot who featured with Tweet on her 2002 released track, ‘Oops (Oh My)’, soon took to tweet to send her prayers for the singer. “Sending prayers up for my sis @MS_HUMMINGBIRD who has blood clots in both lungs… We are asking for your prayers for healing,” she wrote.
