Avril Lavigne gave her first performance in over 3 years when she took the stage to join her ex husband, Chad Kroeger during his show.The ‘Complicated’ singer was in attendance of Canadian rock band, Nickelback’s concert at the Greek Theater in Los Angeles this Friday and stepped on stage for a surprise performance on their song, ‘Rockstar’ – along with Kroeger, who fronts the 1995-formed band.
The band later tweeted about the stint expressing their surprise: “You never know who will join us for ‘Rockstar’ karaoke. And tonight we got super lucky with these two rockstars. It just might be you next!”
Kroeger and Lavigne had got married back in 2013 in the South of France – however things did not go well and the two were separated after a period of 2 years.
Clearly, the former love-birds are still in “good-terms” and have no hard feelings towards each other.
