Lady Gaga cancels performance due to ‘severe pain’ from a chronic disease

Lady Gaga axed her performance Rock In Rio 2017 at the last moment citing ‘severe pain’ as the reason.

The Grammy winning star, backed off from her headlining spot on the event only a day before it was supposed to take place and had to go under medical care.
Gaga had recently confirmed that she suffers from a disease called fibromyalgia – a disorder characterized by widespread chronic muscular pain and fatigue.
To avoid any disruption on the show, Maroon 5 were added as a replacement to the singer at a very short notice, but the organizers are willing to issue refunds to the attendees who do not wish to see it anymore.
Gaga also uploaded a picture of her hand on Instagram, as she received IV after being taken to a hospital.
“I’m devastated that I’m not well enough to come to Rock In Rio,” the singer wrote. “promise that I will come back and perform for you soon.”
