Queen Bee’s friend’s and family gave her a special tribute on her 36th birthday on Monday.
A list including names like fellow Destiny’s Child bandmates Kelly Rowland and Michelle Williams, Tennis legend Serena Williams, former first lady Michelle Obama – came together to recreate one of the most popular looks from the superstar’s Grammy nominated visual album, ‘Lemonade.’
The looks comes from Yonce’s groundbreaking ‘Formation’ music video, where she appeared wearing a black Gothic gown, an extravagant ethnic neck-piece and a super-large hat – covering half of her face.
Also participated in the series of tribute-photos was Beyonce’s mother Tina Knowles Lawson, step-sister Bianca Lawson and cousin Angela Beyince and an adorable take by Knowles’ 5 year old daughter, Blue Ivy Carter.
