Watch: Cher and Future sing Sly and the Family Stone’s “Everyday People” for GAP advert

The most unlikely of duets was made possible by GAP, as Pop songstress Cher sat down with rapper Future to belt out a tune.

The new advert from the clothing brand’s latest series of similar ‘collaborative’ commercials, shows the two very different musicians take on Sly and the Family Stone’s 1969 classic, “Everyday People.”

“When Gap said they wanted to team me up with a young artist I knew it would be really beautiful,’” Cher said about working with the rapper. “We had a blast together.”

Future was equally excited by the small collaboration and spoke highly on his association with the clothing brand:

“It’s part of my DNA, growing up wearing Gap and now to see my son wearing it and in a campaign ties the whole family together. They have something for every age, every person in a family.”

Although, some found it ‘cringy’ – we thought it was super-cool.

PS: Cher’s still got that big powerful voice in her.
