After the second and final sequence, released in the year 2003, Charlie’s Angels is coming back with a brand new installment to the series.
The original McG directed action comedy, will now see major changes in the new chapter, including an all new ensemble cast, replacing the previous three leading ladies – Cameron Diaz, Drew Barrymore and Lucy Liu.
According to the latest buzz, Oscar winner Lupita Nyong’o is being considered to play one of the lead protagonists alongside Twilight star, Kristen Stewart, while the direction will be headed by Elizabeth Banks.
More information on the upcoming project hasn’t been confirmed yet, but according the newly updated IMDB page – David Auburn and Carlo Bernard will be spearheading the writing department of the reboot, which is scheduled for a release in 2019.
