Whitney Houston’s estate announces NEW album, to mark 25 years of The Bodyguard

As we had previously speculated, the late Whitney Houston’s estate has come up with the announcement of a new album to celebrate the 25th anniversary of the iconic Bodyguard soundtrack album.

The Pop legend’s estate made the announcement on Entertainment Tonight revealing the cover pic and release date of her highly anticipated special edition release

‘I Wish You Love: More From The Bodyguard’ – would feature live versions of her classics from the 1992 released soundtrack, that also featured her iconic signature ballad- ‘I Will Always Love You.’

The most anticipated inclusion in the setlist, as revealed through Amazon, comes with the live performance of ‘Run To You’ – a never heard before take on the David Foster produced Oscar nominated hit by the diva. What makes this inclusion special, is that a live performance of the song hasn’t been seen or heard by anyone apart from the people who saw her perform it in concert back in the day.

According to the recently revealed setlist, ‘I Wish You Love’ would also feature rare alternate takes of her songs like ‘Queen Of The Night’ and ‘I Have Nothing’ and an acapella version of her soulful gospel rendition of, ‘Jesus Loves Me.’

The Bodyguard soundtrack still ranks as the biggest selling album by a female artist, while its lead single, “I Will Always Love You” is still the top selling song by a female.

The anniversary edition is only going to add more feathers to its list of achievements.

Whitney Houston – I Wish You Love: More From The Bodyguard is scheduled for a release on Nov. 17.

The album is now available for pre-order on Amazon.
