Rihanna praises Lil Kim, "She has pushed limits like no other black artist"

Lil Kim continues to be cited as the trailblazing trend-setter of the 90's, who inspired a large number of female artists to break out of the shell.

Recently, it was Queen Bey who payed homage to the Grammy winning rapper, by dressing up for Halloween as various popular avatars of the 'Came Back For You' hitmaker - and now Rihanna, too, has joined in to cite Kim as one of her influences.

In a recent interview with Vogue Paris, the 'Work' singer-songwriter uttered high-praises for Kim, whom she referred to as a 'phenomenon.'

Here is what Riri said:

“Powerful, creative, without any taboos, Lil Kim has pushed the limits like no other black artist. Her world is coloful, fun, pop, rich and coded. She has fun. I am happy to see a phenomenon like in my life.”

This isn't the first time Rihanna has showed love for Kim though.
