Mark Salling has died in what appears like an apparent suicide.
The actor’s body was reportedely found near a riverbed in Sunland, close to his residence.
Although the 35 year old’s death has been confirmed by law enforcement, the nature and manner of death has not been revealed as of now.

Salling had recently embroiled into controversy after pleading guilty of possessing child pornography. The television actor had approximately 50,000 pornographic images of prepubescent minors and children – according to his prosecutors.
With a probable 4 to 6 years in prison ahead of him, Salling was due to sentencing in March.

“I can confirm that Mark Salling passed away early this morning. Mark was a gentle and loving person, a person of great creativity, who was doing his best to atone for some serious mistakes and errors of judgment,” Mark’s attorney Michael Proctor told PEOPLE.
“He is survived by his mother and father, and his brother. The Salling family appreciates the support they have been receiving and asks for their privacy to be respected,” he further added in the statement.
Mark Salling was primarily known for his role as Noah “Puck” Puckerman in Glee.
He was 35.
