Mathew Knowles has been throwing statements ahead of his new book release.
The estranged father to pop superstar Beyonce has dared put his bare hand inside the beehive by claiming that Beyonce wouldn’t even be half as successful as she is now, if her skin tone was darker.
“When it comes to Black females, who are the people who get their music played on pop radio? Mariah Carey, Rihanna, the female rapper Nicki Minaj, my kids.” – Mathews said in an interview with Ebony.
Bee’s daddy and former manager isn’t suddenly speaking on the subject of ‘race’ without a reason; he has a new book out and it is called, “Racism From The Eyes Of A Child.”

Not sure how the hive is going to react to this (in fact they may already have) but does he hold some weight in what he’s saying?
Do darker skinned black women have lesser chances of making it big in the mainstream?
