Idris Elba Named People Magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’!

Idris Elba has been named People magazine’s ‘Sexiest Man Alive’ for the year 2018.

The 46 year old British actor, producer and musician is the 33rd man to hold the annual title of the magazine and also appears on the cover of it’s November issue.

Elba is successor to Blake Shelton who won the title last year – much to it’s readers’ dismay.

Reacting to the ‘surprise-announcement’, here is what the ‘Avengers: Infinity Wars’ actor was quoted telling PEOPLE:

“I was like, ‘Come on, no way. Really?’ Looked in the mirror, I checked myself out. I was like, ‘Yeah, you are kind of sexy today. But to be honest, it was just a nice feeling. It was a nice surprise — an ego boost for sure.”
