Whitney Houston Receives Multiple New Platinum/Gold Certifications On 11 Of Her Classics

Whitney Houston’s music continues to win over the test of time, as the songstress has just received multiple RIAA certifications on 11 of her formerly released classics.

The late diva’s estate updated the numbers as previous hits like ‘I Will Always Love You’ and ‘Saving All My Love For You’ get new Platinum/Gold Certifications, decades after release.

“Ten classic Whitney tracks/singles have earned new RIAA (The Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA)) certifications this month,” the singer’s estate announced through Facebook.

Here’s what the post further stated:



““I Will Always Love You” is now certified 8x Platinum; “I Wanna Dance With Somebody (Who Loves Me)” is certified 3x Platinum; “Saving All My Love For You,” “How Will I Know,” “Greatest Love Of All,” “I’m Every Woman,” “I Have Nothing” and “It’s Not Right But It’s Okay” are certified Platinum; and “Run To You” and “When You Believe” are certified Gold!”

In addition to these, Houston’s 1988 released Summer Olympics song, One Moment In Time has also recieved Gold certification, more than 30 years after its release.

Talk about an unforgettable legacy.
