Had It Coming? Rhino Poacher Gets Crushed By Elephants and Eaten By Lions

In a striking instance of what you may call ‘Karma’, a Rhino poacher – who set out to illegally hunt the endangered animal in the Kruger National Park of South Africa was trampled by Elephants before being eaten by lions.

The incident came to light after fellow poachers approached authorities narrating how they lost ‘one from the group’ during the act, before managing to escape from the scene.

The remains of the poacher were later traced, but there wasn’t much left to begin with except for his skull and a pair of jeans.

Further investigation suggested that his crushed body was later eaten by lions, leaving only his skull.

It also goes without saying that Rhino poaching has been prevailing and skyrocketing in the past ten years, resulting in over 6,300 deaths of the species in Kenya and South Africa alone.

The officials did pass their condolences to the family members of the deceased but also warned people of the dangers of entering the park illegally and ‘on foot’.
