High School Student Under Fire After Flaunting Racist Prom-Placard For His Date

A high school student is receiving major backlash for his racist behavior, after asking a girl he was meaning to take out for prom with the most despicable choice of words.

The Ohio based scholar held a placard, “prom-posing” the girl with the following words written on it:

“If I was black I’d be picking cotton but I’m white so I’m picking u for prom.”

Following severe online backlash, Clear Fork High School’s superintendent Janice Wyckoff has gone ahead and banned him from the event.

Here is what she further added on the incident:

“This is one person making a bad decision that’s going to reflect on everybody. This is actually a terrible day in the Clear Fork Valley.”

šŸ—£ļøThee audacity!!! Blatant, Brazen ass! If he was black he’d be picking cotton? #racistpromproposal #BellvilleOhio #ClearFork šŸ‘æ
It is yet to be seen, if the student will face any other disciplinary actions following the incident, but he seems to have deleted the post holding the sign, for now.
