If the sequences released thus far weren’t enough to incite a lifelong clown-phobia into your soul, a new sequel of ‘It’ is here, promising to take the tale of the terrifying character a few notches above.
In the recently unveiled first teaser for the second part of the modern-day Pennywise-saga, the story is set to depict what goes around with the characters after a span of 27 years – from the time the original story took place.
The fully grown members of the ‘losers club’ are made to face the terror of, perhaps the most feared clown in movie history.
Bill Skarsgård, who plays the titular role of Pennywise the clown, promises the sequel would be even more shocking than the first one.
“There’s a lot to explore. You can change him [Pennywise] or make him wackier, but he’s not really bound to continuity in the sense that a normal character would be.” – he was quoted telling Entertainment Weekly.
