We are already up in our feelings about this live-action remake of one of our favorite childhood animated classics, The Lion King, but the makers have a lot more in store to keep us salivating.
Ahead of the film’s release and the unveiling of its complete soundtrack, Lebo M – one of the musical producers of the flick, has teased us by stating that the soundtrack’s ‘new’ Beyonce track might actually be bigger than Circle Of Life.
Speaking during an interview on an African TV show, here’s what he said:
“I can be ambitious and say I have a feeling the song just might be bigger than Circle Of Life.”
Two songs, ‘Can You Feel The Love Tonight?’ and ‘Circle of Life’ from the original animated version’s soundtrack (both by the fabulous, sir Elton John) were nominated at the Academy awards, while the former ended up winning the same in the year 1995.
