Natalie Portman Set To Play Female Thor in Upcoming Sequel Of The Marvel Franchise!

After ongoing speculations about Lashana Lynch’s casting as the next 007 in the upcoming James Bond movie, Natalie Portman may soon take place of Chris Hemsworth to play ‘female Thor’ in the much-loved franchise’ next venture.

The ‘Annihilation’ actress, who’s previously played the role of Jane Foster in the movie-franchise, may pick up Thor’s Mjölnir herself, to kick things off from where he’d left them.

The Oscar winner announced her involvement in the project at the Hall H Comic-Con 2019 panel on Saturday, as she held a prop Mjölnir in her hands.

“I’ve always had a little hammer envy,” she said, leaving the crowd bonkers.

The character’s transformation into a superhero, is indeed based on the comic when Thor Odinson finds himself unworthy of picking up the hammer (as was indicated in the Endgame finale), and Jane Foster takes up the task instead – becoming the Mighty Lady Thor.

Having issues with Marvel after 2 movies, Natalie is set to reprise her role! Tessa Thompson’s Valkyrie will remain the Queen of New Asgard. Let’s hope Thor gets back in his shape by the time.
