It looks like Beyonce and the team behind The Lion King are really pushing for ‘Spirit’ to be the new lead single from the movie’s upcoming soundtrack.
After unveiling the high-octane track from the OST, the singer has released the official music video for the uplifting ballad, filled with some stunning visual imagery.
Giving an ethnic vibe reminiscent of her recent projects, some stunning shots from the Grand Canyon which she famously filmed last week, interlinked with scenes from the the movie, the music video is as larger-than-life as you’d expect all Beyonce projects to be these days.
So does it actually meet all our rocketing expectations?

Knowles had apparently taken special permission from the Havasupal tribe to shoot the video at Havasu Falls located in the Grand Canyon – arriving there in a chopper and staying for about 5 hours for the filming.
The result as you can see – is absolutely spectacular.
