Beyonce has always been picture-perfect. And to prove it now, a recent portrait of the singing superstar will be kept at the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery.
Photographer Tyler Mitchell, who took the stunning shot of Knowles for ‘Vogue’, shared the fantastic news on his Instagram handle, earlier this week – leading the beyhive to rejoice.
The 24 year old shared the famous photograph and wrote the following in the caption:
“A year ago today we broke the flood gates open. Since then it was important to spend the whole year running through them making sure every piece of the gate was knocked down. And now I’m glad to share this picture is being acquired into the Smithsonian National Portrait Gallery’s permanent collection.”
Now that’s an iconic feat!
