The Clark Sisters are ready to get their groove back for us.
The legendary Gospel group is reportedly readying their comeback album – which will be their first in nearly 10 years, and it has us, all hyped.
The celebrated group teased their fans with the upcoming project in a recent conversation and also posted about ‘upcoming music’ on their Instagram handles.
The proposed LP will be created under member, Karen Clark Sheard’s own label.
According to reports, the release is being planned sometime in 2020 and will likely coincide with their upcoming Lifetime biopic.
The group was most recently in news for their show-stopping performance at Queen of Soul, Aretha Frankin’s funeral – where they literally swept everyone off their feet with their trademark gospel riffing, reminding everyone why they became so great in the genre, in the first place.
We sure are excited for this comeback!
