A Massachusetts-based man has been arrested for introducing his 5 year old son to a dangerous drug.
The boy apparently brought the heroin powder to school and was reportedly quoted telling his teachers, that he feels like ‘Spider-man’ whenever he licks off it.
Authorities were soon brought into picture and the boy’s father – 29 year old Benny Garcia of Holyoke, was charged with reckless endangerment of a child and illegal drug possession.
Garcia’s house was later ransacked by the police, who found nearly 200 packets of heroin and cocaine there. He is now held in custody until his next hearing on 20th November.
As for the young boy, he was taken to a hospital to ensure the drugs did not have any severe adverse effect in his body. He was found unharmed.
It was earlier this past Thursday, the 5 year old had brought a plastic bag to his Kindergarten with ‘Spider-man’ printed on it. He put the ‘white powder’ in his mouth and told his teachers that it made him feel like a superhero.
