Bobby Brown Was Physically Abusive to Whitney Houston, Suggests Robyn Crawford on Red Table Talk

Robyn Crawford’s recently released memoir – A Song For You: My Life With Whitney Houston, is presenting a brand new outlook about the life of one of Hollywood’s brightest, yet most troubled stars, like we’ve never heard before.

From the eyes of a former love, who stuck with her since the very beginning, Crawford’s account of Houston and their friendship is profound, and reeks of a sense of integrity. When she speaks, it seems to be coming from a place of self-assurance, of finally, having had enough of holding it in. It is Robyn’s story too, and she is telling it.

In a recent sitdown with Jada Pinkett Smith, for her Red Table Talk – the former personal assistant and lover to Whitney Houston spoke deeply about the many aspects of her life with the late legend, moving Jada to tears on many occasions.

During the same interaction, Crawford makes the shocking revelation about the times she suspected and witnessed Whitney being the victim of domestic abuse by the hands of her ex-husband, Bobby Brown.

Robyn remembers how she once saw a big cut on Whitney’s face soon after her and Bobby went for a holiday. But when she was confronted with it – she told it was cut by a broken glass which bounced back at her when she threw it at a wall.

Recounting the instances of Bobby, spitting on Whitney’s face and hitting her over the head with a phone, Robyn spoke about it – without inhibitions, only to the extent she witnessed things, first hand.

In her final words while concluding the interview, Robyn had a message for her old friend too…

“I would wanna say, you know Nip, you know I love you,” said Robyn. “And I got you. I will represent. I love that girl like yesterday and she’s with me all the time.”
