Camila Cabello has been under fire for a problematic post from the past, that reeks of racism.
The ‘Havana’ hitmaker’s old Tumblr posts resurfaced earlier this week, which featured her sharing several racists memes along with the usage of the ‘N-word.’
Cabello has since been apologising publicly, stating that she was only a teenager at that point and didn’t know any better. But it is certainly a hard pill to swallow.
Taking to her Twitter handle, the singer issued her apology:
“When I was younger I used language that I’m deeply ashamed of and will regret forever. I was uneducated and ignorant and once I became aware of the history and the weight and the true meaning behind this horrible and hurtful language, I was deeply embarrassed I ever used it.”
Camella, who was apparently around 15 when she created those racist Tumblr posts, further stated in her apology:
“I’m 22 now. I’m an adult and I’ve grown and learned and am conscious and aware of the history and the pain it carries in a way I wasn’t before.”
The apology, still didn’t go down well with performer K. Michelle who went all out on the former Fifth Harmony singer.
Here’s how Michelle told off Cabello:

Cabello has been under the wrath of a lot of celebs and industry peers, who have called out the singer for her racist views.
