After stirring controversy for showing up late to recent shows, and disappointing some of the fans with her attitude to such an extend that she invited boos from the crowd – Madonna has cancelled her ongoing tour altogether.
The Pop Queen has put a stop to her ‘Madame X’ tour citing unavoidable ‘physical pain’ and health issues.
Here’s what the 61 year old was quoted as telling her fans in an official announcement on her social media handles:
“Please forgive this unexpected turn of events. Doing my show every night brings me so much joy and to cancel is a kind of punishment for me but the pain Im in right now is overwhelming and I must rest and follow doctors orders so i can come back stronger and better and continue the Madame ❌ journey with all of you.”
Her December 2019 and early 2020 shows will now either be postponed to later dates or be cancelled altogether.
