Taylor Swift has no interest in attending the Grammy awards, if she’s not taking home the big trophies.
The ‘Lover’ hitmaker reportedly didn’t participate in this year’s annual celebration of music as the organisers couldn’t confirm her, if she’d be up for a win in any of the big categories.
According to music insiders and sources close to the event, Swift showed no interest in showing up to the awards as she wasn’t a strong contender at any of the categories.
According to Page Six:
“[Her team] called and wanted to be assured that she would win the Grammy. And while it wasn’t an explicit demand, they certainly were fishing to find out if Taylor was a winner. It was understood in the conversation that if she’s not winning, she’s not coming to the Grammys.”
Apart from her obnoxious, self-indulgence, doesn’t it also, in a way, exemplify the age-old allegations about the Grammys being rigged?
