Whitney Houston Earns Her Longest Running UK Top 100 Single with ‘Higher Love’

Higher Love has clearly turned out to be the most successful posthumous release for the late and great Whitney Houston.

The Kygo-mixed revamped version of her 1990-released recording, has given the late diva one of her biggest hits in over a decade, and it continues to add more feathers to her coveted hat.

The single has now become the legend’s longest running Top 100 song in UK’s official charts, staying inside the tally for 34 weeks now.

The Kygo-collaboration has topped Houston’s previous record of 32 weeks inside Top 100, which was held by her groundbreaking single – I Will Always Love You, from the The Bodyguard Soundtrack album.

With an ongoing Hologram tour running at multiple locations in the UK, expect the position to stay firm and the record to get further extended, as the track is one of the highlights of the performing hologram’s setlist.
