Kanye West: “I’m a Black Guy With a Red [MAGA] Hat”

Kanye West recently appeared on the latest issue of Wall Street Journal, dated March 25, and dished on a number of controversies and subjects he has been associated with, in the recent past.

The rapper and musician, who has often been called-out for his many tactics on the personal front and also his unorthodox political stance, took the opportunity to speak on his support for Donald Trump and his ‘MAGA’ campaign.

“I’m a black guy with a red [MAGA] hat, can you imagine?” he asserted. “It reminded me of how I felt as a black guy before I was famous when I would walk in a restaurant, and people would look at you like you were going to steal something. ‘This is your place, Ye, don’t talk about apparel. This is your place, Ye, you’re black, so you’re a Democrat.’”

West has previously been called-out by his fans and casual music-listeners for his devout support for Trump, despite many calling the latter’s political campaign for serving racial undertones and instigating racial tensions.

But Kanye still prefers to stick to his decision of support the 45th POTUS.
