Cardi B, Ellen DeGeneres, Taraji P. Henson & More Join The Fight To Demand Justice for Breonna Taylor

As the campaigns and protests to bring justice to George Floyd have brought millions of people on the streets – worldwide, the fight to bring police reforms and to stop racial profiling, isn’t quite limited to this one case.

As the Black Lives Matter protest continues to intensify, people are also joining their forces to bring justice to the rest of recent sufferers of similar cases of police brutality.

The likes of Cardi B, Alicia Keys, Queen Latifah – among several others have come together to fight for justice for Breonna Taylor.

As you might already know – Breonna, a healthcare worker from Louisville, Kentucky, was murdered by cops inside her home after they used a no-knock warrant to barge into her home, under suspicion of illegal drug activities. Approximately, 20 shots were fired at Taylor, killing her on the spot. It was later found that the cops had entered a ‘wrong home’.

We’ve seen the so-called Incident Report, and its breathtaking lack of transparency. It says nothing substantive about the events of that night, in which Breonna Taylor was murdered in her home. We already know many of the details of her murder, and Sgt. John Mattingly, Myles Cosgrover, and Brett Harkinson are still free. District Judge Mary Shaw issued the no-knock warrant and is also responsible for Taylor’s murder. All of these people must be fired and charged with the crimes they committed. . I ask you, @lmpd.ky, @mayorgregfischer and @govandybeshear: if this happened to your daughter, what would your response be? Imagine your daughter at her most vulnerable—asleep in her bed in her home—and now imagine such horrific and senseless violence being done to her. What would you want for her? How swift would your actions for justice be? #BreonnaTaylor #JusticeforBre . To my white friend and followers: please take action now—link in my profile for how.
