Jane Fonda Reveals She Was Close To Sleeping with Marvin Gaye, ‘He Wanted To… I Was Married’

Jane Fonda was recently quizzed about her past flings that almost came to be, but never really happened.

The academy award winner appeared for a Q&A on The New York Times and was asked who she regrets not having slept with during her younger years in Hollywood.

“Your greatest regret is that you never had sex with Che Guevara,” Times reporter Maureen Dowd quizzed the actress and she shut down the rumour, spilling the tea about who it really was.

“No, I don’t think about him,” she said. “Who I do think about, and what is a great regret is Marvin Gaye.”

She further stated:

“He [Marvin] wanted to and I didn’t. I was married to Tom. I was meeting a lot of performers to try to do concerts for Tom and the woman who was helping me do that introduced me to Marvin Gaye.”

Although Marvin didn’t quite use the phrases from his classic ‘Sexual healing’ as a pick-up line for Fonda, as she stated, but the actress did eventually find out that Gaye had an admiration for her even before their meeting.

“I read, apparently he had my picture on his refrigerator. I didn’t find that out until later, after he was dead.”

Welp!
