'Happy Days' Actress Erin Moran dies at age 56
Actress Erin Moran who was known for playing the role of Joanie Cunnigham on the sitcom Happy Days has passed away.
According the TMZ, Moran was found unresponsive by authorities after 4 PM ET Saturday.
Born in October 18, 1960 in California, Erin was best known for her role in the 1970's sitcom Happy Days in which she starred alongside Ron Howard and Marion Ross - a role she reprises in Joanie Loves Chachi. Happy days was one of the highest-rated shows of the 1970's
Her Happy days co-star Henry Winkler, wrote on Twitter, “OH Erin…now you will finally have the peace you wanted so badly here on earth. Rest In It serenely now…too soon.”
Erin was also known for her appearances on 'Murder, she Wrote', 'Desperation Boulevard', 'Hotel' and 'Celebrity Fit Club.'
The cause of death is not known yet and an autopsy is pending.
Erin was 56.
