Prince passed away last year on the 21rst of April at the age of 57. He was one of the best selling artists of all time, with sales of over 100 million records. He achieved 5 #1’s and thirty Top 40 singles on the Billboard Hot 100 charts and 4 number 1 albums on the album charts. Prince won a total of 8 Grammy awards, with the most recent one for ‘Best RnB Vocal Performance’ for “Future Baby Mama” won in the year 2008. He also won a ‘Best Original Score’ Academy award in the year 1985, for his signature classic ‘Purple Rain’ from the movie and album of the same name
