Amid speculations of what might have caused the rift between the two, it has been revealed by sources, that Kendu had an affair outside of their marriage with another woman. To make it even worse, the affair was with none other one of Mary’s best friends, actress and model Starshell.

Take this with a grain of salt, as we would, since this is not confirmed by Mary yet. But it said, that almost everyone around Mary seemed to have an idea about the affair between the two for years, but Mary, like most people in such relationships, stayed in denial and chose to see only what she wanted to believe in.
The said source spilled all the tea in an interview with Page Six talking about how bad it was for Mary to be treated that way despite being the one who brought Starshell to the limelight in the first place, “It’s really f**ked up and low to have it done to her that way. Had it not been for Mary signing her, investing time and money . . . Because no one cared about her music,” the source told Page Six.
Notably, Mary J used to bring Starshell to several red carpet and Television appearances to provide her some visibility and help shape the aspiring artist’s career.
The source also claimed, how Blige’s husband would verbally demean and dehumanize her to keep a control over the songstress, “He was verbally controlling. He’d say the most negative s**t to her five minutes before she’d hit the stage,”
Kendu has not replied back to the allegations yet, however his lawyer has completely dismissed the claims and has asked for it to be dealt in court.
