Earlier Mary J announced the release of her 13th studio album, ‘Strength Of A Woman’ lead by the much-talked about first single, ‘Thick Of It’
The RnB’s diva’s latest set will hit the shelves on April 28th and she was seen promoting her, yet again, very personal album on the Ellen Show.
The album will capture her emotional roller-coster, as the singer is in the process of getting divorced from her husband of 14 years, Kendu Isaacs. The two were married in 2003 and have cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for their divorce.
Blige chose to perform ‘Thick Of It’ on the show and gave an emotinoally-stirring performance:
‘Thick Of It’ was released in October, 2016 and topped the Billboard Adult RnB Songs Charts.
The album ‘Strength Of A Woman’ is due in store this Friday.
