Kangana Ranaut and Prabhas once worked together in a movie and had a massive fight, the actress reveals

Not many people may know this but Baahubali’s leading star ‘Prabhas’ and Bollywood Queen Kangana Ranaut, once worked together in a Telugu movie some 8 years ago. Entitled ‘Ek Niranjan’, the Puri Jagannadh directed movie was released back in 2009 – much before Prabhas recieved national fame from the Baahubali series or Kangana became the Queen of Bollywood delivering commercial and critical blockbusters.

Another tidbit their fans might not be aware of was that their experience of working together wasn’t really as pleasant as one would hope. The two actors got involved in several fights during the shooting of the film, and some of them got so intense that they stopped talking to each other eventually, as revealed by Kangana herself.

At a recent event, the three time national-award winning actress was quoted as saying, “I feel so happy to see Prabhas doing so well. When we started that time, we used to fight a lot and I remember we had this massive fight when we stopped talking to each other. Then I saw  Baahubali and I was like ‘Wow!’ I am so proud of his achievement and I am sure he feels the same.”

Prabhas is currently enjoying the record-breaking success of Baahubali: 2, in which he co stars along side Rana Dagubatti. The SS Rajamouli directed venture has already crossed the 1000 crore mark at the Worldwide box-office – becoming the first Indian movie to do so, standing tall as the highest grossing Indian film of all time.

Kangana was last seen in the Vishal Bhardwaj directed critically acclaimed period war-drama, Rangoon, co-starring Shahid Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan and was recently spotted in Varanasi during the Poster-launch of her much anticipated upcoming project on the Queen of Jhansi.

Despite their old differences, the two superstars have come a long way since then and it would be interesting to see them paired opposite each other once again in some power-packed roles.

Here’s to hoping.
