Entitled, ‘Witness’ – this will be Katy’s fifth studio album after the 2013 released platinum-seller, ‘Prism’. ‘Witness’ is stated for a release on 9th June and will be supported by a grand Tour with the same name which will commence from September, 2017.You can check the list of the complete tour dates from here.
It was also reported on Sunday, that Perry is in talks to join the upcoming revival season of ‘American Idol’ as a judge. The news comes after previous American Idol alumni’s Jennifer Hudson and Kelly Clarkson agreed to join The Voice, after ABC lost the race to include the two on their season revival of American Idol.
Considering the fact that Katy’s latest single has met with unfavorable reviews and hasn’t performed well on the charts, her appearance on the show coinciding with the release of her new album might help her push the word out more.
