“She wouldn’t speak to me”: Katy Perry spills all tea on Taylor Swift

As Katy’s latest single, ‘Swish Swish’ released people quickly noticed the reference to her feud with Taylor Swift dating back to 2012.

The two have not been on good terms since 5 years when Taylor’s tour dancers left her to perform with Katy, shortly after which Taylor penned her chart-topping track, ‘Bad Blood’ sliming Perry.

As speculations rose about Perry’s latest single throwing slight shade at the popstar, she finally appeared on Carpool Karaoke with James Cordan to spill the all the juice for us.

Here is what she had to say (Via PerezHilton):

“She started it and it’s time for her to finish it. It’s about backing dancers. It’s so crazy! OK, so there are three backing dancers that went on tour with her tour, right? And they asked me before they went on tour if they could go, and I was like, ‘Yeah, of course. I’m not on a record cycle, and get the work, and she’s great and all that. But I will be on a record cycle in about a year, so be sure to put a 30-day contingency in your contract so you can get out if you want to join me when I say I’m going back on.’ So that year came up, right? And I texted all of them—because I’m very close with them—and I said, ‘Look, just FYI: I’m about to start, I want to put the word out there.’ And they said, ‘OK, we’re gonna go and talk to management about it.’ And they did. And they got fired.”

Katy talked about how she tried to get in touch with Swift later on, but the latter refused to talk. “And I tried to talk to her about it, and she wouldn’t speak to me. It was a full shutdown and then she writes a song about me.” she said.

Since Katy finally made the beef public it would be interesting to see if Taylor Swift reponds.

More interestingly, if she would respond with another song..
