Katy Perry’s latest single, ‘Swish Swish’ attempts to take a jibe at her long-time feud with singer Taylor Swift.

Released on 19 May the song also features rapper Nicki Minaj and will be featured on her upcoming studio album ‘Witness’ which is out on June 9.

But, apparently the song hasn’t gone down well with Taylor’s friend and DJ Ruby Rose who dished Katy on Twitter for “stooping low”.

“‘Purposeful poop’ to ‘bomb a petit’ to a sloppy mess of writing over the top of Funkagenda..stop trying to make ‘Wit… I mean ‘fetch’ happen,” Ruby wrote on Twitter. Adding in another Tweet, “I just think with everything going on in the world to go from rebranding as political activist only to ditch it and go low.. is.. a bummer.”

Ruby didn’t just stop there as she also threw a massive shade at the lack-luster performance of Katy’s recent singles on the charts. “You are her fans you should buy all her songs so the songs will finally chart. If as many as tweeted me bought her last 3 .. they’d be hits,” she said on one of her Tweets.

Ouch..!

The feud between Katy and Taylor date back to the year 2012 when Taylor’s tour dancers left her to work with Katy which instigated Swift to pen her char-topping track, ‘Bad Blood’ which was notoriously based on her feelings towards Perry.

Katy, on the hand, hasn’t released a studio project since ‘Bad Blood’, so ‘Witness’ gave her the chance to have a comeback with a response to the 3 year old shade.
