Jesus Heuche, who is a resident of Bahia Blanca, Argentina, was pruning a tree on May 14 when he took a sudden fall and suffered from mild head-trauma. The 28 year old worker fell from a height of two meters and woke up to find his dog, Tony, laying on top of him.”I woke up because I had my son, the dog, on top of me,” Mr Heuche told Cadena3, an Argentine radio station.
Tony, who was rescued from the streets by Jesus Heuche almost four years ago, refused to leave Heuche until ambulance arrived for help.
The pictures, which were shared by the civil defense authority of Bahia Blanca, soon went viral on social media, being shared over 3000 times on Facebook as it warmed the hearts of several people to see the unconditional love and loyalty of man’s best friend.
“I give him all my love and he gives me everything back,” Heuche said in a statement.
