Selena Gomez plays a lesbian teenager in the 70’s in her New Music Video

Selena Gomez unveiled the music video for her latest single, ‘Bad Liar’ on the 14th of June and it’s as Gomez as it could get.

The 24 year old singer-songwriter is seen playing multiple characters in the Jesse Peretz directed visual, set in the 1970’s

Gomez plays a total of four characters – a regular teenage high-schooler, a gorgeous Gym-teacher who she apparently crushes on, a mom and a flirtatious cocky man with a mustache – who happens to be the teenager’s father.

While some fans pointed out Selena’s subtle hints at the teenage protagonist hiding her sexuality while fantasizing about her gym teacher, others nodded it off saying its just about ‘self-love’ with Selena loving Selena.

But it becomes more clear as the teenager takes out a photograph from the hiding, towards the end of the video and rubs her finger on it.

The video has a surprise element towards the end as it displays, ‘Coming Soon — FETISH’ – hinting at a possible new release.
