Selena Gomez – ‘Taylor Swift Started Crying Listening To My New Music’

Taylor Swift couldn’t hold back her tears while listening to new music from Selena Gomez – says the ‘Good For You’ singer herself.

Gomez, 27, recently made an appearance on KISS FM UK and dished on the release of her ‘sort of comeback singles’, Lose You to Love Me and Look at Her Now and while staying on the subject, spoke about the effect her new releases had on close-friend – Taylor Swift.

Selena recalled the time when she played the songs for Taylor and her family at her house for the first time and her instant reaction was basically bawling her eyes out.

“I’ll never forget when I did play the video at her house,” Selena was quoted telling during her interview. “And it was one of the coolest experiences because I’ve been friends with her for over a decade and love her family as well.”

Selena has had a series of personal up’s and down’s, starting from her trouble with relationships and past boyfriends and her severe health issues, so her new music is indeed being looked upon as a form of ‘comeback’ from all that chaos.

She continued with her story:

“She played it and her and her mom just started crying tears and tears. And all the sudden it stopped. It’s gonna make me cry thinking about it, because it wasn’t just about how great the song was, which is a lot coming from her. It was just that they had been on that journey with me, intimately.”

She further stated:

“They were crying because of how proud they were for me stepping into a whole new era of my life, and it not involving the horrible things, the abuse, the emotional chaos, it felt like I had a huge sigh of relief.”
