Britney Spears stunned everyone with an impromptu vocal showcase during one of her recent concerts in Singapore.The Pop superstar sang a melodious version of ‘Happy Birthday’ to one of her crew members, and slayed those vocals.
This can be seen as a sort of “clap-back” at the haters and nay-sayers, who criticized Spears for miming through her concerts and dishing her for not singing Live.
In a recent interview in Tel Aviv, the ‘Womanizer’ hitmaker replied back to her critics saying that although she does use playback in some of these performances, due to her dance routine, she does sing a significant portion of it Live.
“A lot of people think that I don’t sing live… Because I’m dancing so much I do have a little bit of playback, but there’s a mixture of my voice and the playback,” she stated. “It really pisses me off because I am busting my ass out there and singing at the same time and nobody ever really gives me credit for it.”
Nevertheless, her improvised ‘Happy Birthday’ here sounds strong, resonant and beautiful enough to amaze anyone!
