A 10 year old boy saved the life of his little brother after having learnt how to perform CPR while watching actor Dwayne Johnson on screen.

The Detroit-based youngster, named Jacob O’Connor, found his two year old brother Dylan face down on the pool while none of the other family members were around. Jacob immediately pulled his young brother out of the pool and started administering CPR on him in the same manner as he had seen Johnson perform it in a scene from his 2015-released movie, ‘San Andreas.’

An obviously touched Johnson, reshared the news on his Instagram account. “This story grabbed my heart,” the actor wrote in a post on his official gram account. “I’m so amazed and impressed by this little 10yr old boy’s heroic actions and calm instincts in the middle of that kind of emergency distress. I now need to shake young Jacob’s hand.”

Speaking to ABC2 News the 10-year old real-life hero recalled the scene from the movie, that taught him to act spontaneously. “There was an earthquake, then it caused a tsunami and then there was a daughter that was drowning and he had to get her out and he did the same thing,” he said.

Johnson later shared a video congratulating the young boy and announcing that he would soon like to meet him and shake his hand. “I gotta shake the hand of a real life 10yr old hero. Jacob, I’m gonna fly you and your family out to Vancouver so I can meet you,” he wrote. “Hopefully, your little 2yr old brother, Dylan is well enough to fly because I wanna meet him too. I’ll have some very nice people contact your family in the upcoming days to make the arrangements. Can’t wait to meet you big man. And make sure you bring your sweet tooth!”

The 45 year old superstar also revealed how he plans to treat the brothers after their showcase of heroism. “When you come to my sets, it’s like Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory dude because you can eat all the sweets you want and it’s all free,” Dwayne teased. “Yes, it’s free. I’ll see you next week buddy.”
